What sits inside the bottles, and how we choose it.
Copenhagen
Every ingredient on our shelf has a name, a Latin binomial, a source country, and a person we have spoken with. There are no surprises in our formulations — not because we are perfect, but because we are small enough to know each oil's farm by name.
What we use
Cold-pressed carrier oils. Steam-distilled essential oils. Solvent-extracted absolutes for flowers that cannot give up their scent any other way. CO₂ extracts where the molecule we want is fragile. Unrefined butters. Distilled hydrosols.
What we do not use
Synthetic fragrances. Phthalates. Mineral oil. PEGs. Anything that has to hide behind the word "parfum". The label is the formula. The formula is the label.
